DomainOrb and its partners are commited to protecting your privacy by making a public statement about its privacy practices. Any information gathered from this site is held in strict confidence and is never shared with any outside party or interest.
1) Collected information: The only information DomainOrb will ever gather is only related to: Registering, renewing, transfering, buying or selling domain names through our system.
2) About IP addresses: Our webserver automatically collects some information about vistors when they request pages from our server, including their IP address. An IP address is a number that is used by computers connected to the Internet to identify a specific computer so that data (such as the web pages you request) can be sent to it. This information does not identify anyone personally.
3) About cookies: To help us tailor our site to the needs and interests of our visitors, we keep track of the pages visited by our users by placing a small entry in text file, called a cookie, on their hard drive. The cookie contains an ID number that allows us to track the pages visited. We aggregate this data with data on the pages visited by other users to track overall visitor traffic patterns. We use this information to improve our site by making it more responsive to the needs of our users. Cookies don't reveal personal information; the only personal information a cookie can contain is information a user supplies by him/herself. Cookies can't read data off a hard disk.
4) About Children: Children should always get permission from their parents before sending any information about themselves (such as their names, email addresses, and phone numbers) over the Internet, to us or to anyone else. We won’t knowingly allow anyone under 15 to register with our site or to access those features that require registration.
